Witch's Altars.

*It is not an accurate representation of a real altar. I placed things for aesthetic*  

Process
I bought two slabs of wood and wooden chests from an art store. I then painted them black with acrylic paint.

I sculpted bird skulls, books, pages, candles, and a small table from polymer clay.
-The little pages have my writing on them. 
-Candles have a little wick made from wire.

I've had little glass bottles with corks that I had ordered a long time ago. Inside the colorful ones is glue mixed with metallic paint. They are permanently sealed.
In the ones in the chest, is an assortment of teas. 
In a small bottle, I placed white sand, to represent salt.

I placed actual gemstones and quartz on this display.
-Quartz Points inside the chest and on the display.
Moonstone, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Tiger's Eye, Lapis Lazuli, Dalmation Jasper and Bloodstone.
I also glued down blue glass marbles.
They are all permanently glued down on the display.

I drew the stars, circles and designs with a silver metallic marker.

Everything is glued down permanently. Except for some books, a piece of red cloth, glass marbles and more quartz points that are free to move around.

I made the small one first. I loved it so much that I made the bigger one later.
Between sculpting, painting, gluing, assorting and decorating: 9 hours to complete altogether.

The little one is already sold. The bigger one is up for grabs!
